Mulyadi, ST.,MT ABSTRACT Remote rural areas that are largely unreached by the national electricity grid (PLN) are one of the development and development of rural communities. One area that has the potential to be used as an energy source for Micro Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) is Jorong II River Lolo, Kec. South Mapattunggul, Pasaman, West Sumatra is one place that is not yet reached by PLN electricity. The form of generator that we use is Crossflow Turbine. The workings of this water turbine are the potential energy in the water in the dam flowed through pipes or funnels so that the energy is converted into kinetic energy passed to the adapter, then the water is directed by the guide vane adapter to the runner so that water hits the runner's blade which has been covered by turbine house and generate rotation or mechanical energy, the rotation is forwarded to the generator using a shaft through the V-belt transmission so as to produce electrical energy on the generator with turbine head specifications 30 m, water discharge 0.05 m³ / s, can produce electrical energy that can be generated a turbine of 11 kW Keywords: Crossflow, Guide vane, Adapter, Funnel, Turbine Wall
