Abstract

ABSTRACT Feasibility Study of Generators on Used Charges of Minihydro Power Plant (Case Stud y PLTM of Lubuak Sao 2 x 1500 kW ) Abdul Latif The Minihydro Power Plant (PLTM) is one of the most preferred hydroelectric generating plants, whereby PLTM utilizes water energy that has a low flow capacity. In the utilization of water energy in the PLTM, the generated power generator will be distributed to the user in planning the amount of power requirements in the load center and the power or loads used must of course be below the installed power capacity, so that the voltage is stable and the sy stem becomes more reliable ( long live) . The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibi lity of generator used in Minihy dro Power Plant (PLTM) Lubuak Sao 2 x 1500 kW by comparing the installed power and power of the theory results and the power of daily data with the calculation of power or loads used. With the feasibil ity study of this generator, it can be seen the feasibility of a generator that operates based on power or load used. From the results of the study generator used is still feasible to use because the power or load is still under power capacity installed. Keywords: Minihydro Power Plan t , Generator, Power
